Support the 2025 International Parklet Design Competition

The streets we share are powerful platforms for creativity, connection, and innovation. The Park(ing) Day Network is thrilled to launch the 2025 International Parklet Design Competition, an initiative to celebrate and promote the best in design and management for flexible curb lane uses like parklets, streateries, and commercial outdoor dining spaces.

This global competition will highlight the creativity of designers, architects, and community advocates who transform urban spaces into places for gathering, public service, and sustainable living. Winners will be recognized in three categories:

• Best Public Parklet

• Best Social Service Parklet

• Best Patio (Commercial Outdoor Dining Structures)

With $12,000 in prizes and global recognition at stake, participants will submit high-resolution photos and a detailed description of their projects. Winners will be featured in the forthcoming Parklet Book by Island Press, amplifying their impact and inspiring communities worldwide.

We need your support to make this vision a reality. Your donation will fund prizes, marketing, and resources for participants, helping us spotlight the future of streets as public spaces.
